A warehouse platform that runs receiving, picking and stock counts on the scan, across multiple sites.
The project
DS Scanner is a warehouse management platform built on ByteShifted’s own warehouse platform, made for operations that run across more than one warehouse. It turns the warehouse into something that runs on the scan, tracking inventory accurately from the slow movers to the high-sellers and cutting the errors that come from doing it on paper.
Our role
Everything a warehouse actually does runs through it. Putaway, picking, shipping and cycle counting are all guided flows on the device, and the platform maps stock down to warehouse locations and bins and tracks moveable units like pallets and cartons, so the team always knows not just how much is in stock but exactly where it is. It runs on Android wireless handhelds, putting real-time data in the hands of the people on the floor.
It is built to fit into a real operation. DS Scanner integrates with ERP systems so warehouse activity flows into the wider business, and it can be rolled out in phases and adapt as the operation changes. The result is a warehouse with better control of inventory, staffing and order fulfilment, and stock figures the rest of the business can trust.
