A Danish marketplace for renting construction machines online, with same-day delivery and no long contracts.
The project
Mekhos rents construction machinery, lifts, mini excavators, dumpers, loaders and compactors, to contractors and builders across Denmark, with same-day delivery and no long contracts. The old way of renting is a phone call, ringing round to ask what is free, when it can arrive and what it costs. Mekhos wanted that to happen in a browser.
Our role
We built the rental marketplace. A contractor searches by machine type and by region, compares the options, sees what is actually available, and books it in a few steps, from search to reserved without a single phone call. Because a rental business lives on knowing what is free, the platform is built around up-to-date availability, so what the site says is available is what is actually free to rent. Customers get their own account to manage rentals, and the team manages the fleet, availability and pricing from the admin behind it. It runs the flexible terms Mekhos is known for, rent from one day, free extensions, free delivery and pickup, so the software matches the promise.
02 / The Challenge
Renting construction machinery meant calling around to ask what was free, when it could arrive and what it would cost, slow and opaque for contractors who just need the right machine on site today.

We put the whole rental in the browser, so a contractor finds the right machine, sees it is available and books it in a few steps, instead of ringing round to ask what is free.
