Dækleasing

The project

Dækleasing is a Danish platform that turns owning tyres into a simple subscription, and it fits leased and company cars especially well. Instead of paying a big lump sum for a set of tyres, a driver leases high-quality tyres for the whole year and pays monthly, and ByteShifted built the entire digital experience behind it, for both private drivers and business fleets.

Our role

Leasing tyres the old way is slow, it means lookups, contracts and coordinating service, and every one of those steps is friction at signup. We took that friction out. A smart license-plate lookup instantly identifies the tyres that fit a given vehicle, so a customer is matched to the right product and enrolled in minutes. Behind it sits a booking and subscription engine that runs the ongoing relationship, monthly payments, service appointments and the logistics of storing tyres between seasons in the DækHotel.

The whole thing is built around flexibility, quality and nationwide service. The platform connects customers to a countrywide network of service partners, so wherever the car is, changing or servicing the tyres is seamless, booked through the platform and handled locally. The result is tyre ownership reimagined as a hassle-free subscription, easy for a private driver and clean to run across a business fleet.

How the team runs every subscription

Behind the customer experience sits the back office the Dækleasing team works in every day. A single alerts board surfaces every subscription that needs attention, failed payments, new orders and contracts coming up for renewal, all searchable by number plate. From the same panel staff manage the workshop partner network and how each workshop takes bookings, move subscriptions through their lifecycle from pending to active to cancelled, and schedule the seasonal summer and winter changeovers as jobs assigned to a workshop and a time slot. The product catalogue carries separate private and business pricing per tyre size, season and contract length, so the same platform prices a single driver and a company fleet correctly without anyone running a second system.
