Kay's Nail Studio is a nail salon in Kissimmee, Florida, run by a mix of technicians, some in-house, some independent, each with their own regulars. Six technicians work out of the studio, but only two, Karina and Emily, had a direct way to take a booking online, the other four ran their schedules through outside apps like Booksy. Getting a seat with the right person at the right time meant a phone call, or hunting down whichever booking link that day's technician happened to be using.
We built the studio a booking flow of its own, pick Karina or Emily, pick a service, gel, acrylic, fills, Gel-X, a pedicure or nail art, and pick a time, all in one pass, no call needed. Around it sits a gallery of finished work, technician profiles linked out to their Instagram pages, testimonials from past clients and an FAQ, so someone deciding where to book can see the work and the person before they commit. The independent technicians keep their own booking links live on the same site, so regardless of who a client wants, in-house or independent, the studio's website is where the booking starts.
A nail studio's product is the appointment, the right technician, the right time, and splitting six technicians across phone calls and outside booking apps was scattering the queue instead of filling it.
We gave the in-house team direct online booking, technician, service and time in one flow, and gave every technician, in-house or independent, a home on the same site.
